La Danse Fitting Service
The pointe shoe service is at the very heart of La Danse and we carry hundreds of pointe shoes at any one time. Our comprehensive stock represents 7 different brands across at least 30 different styles, each with several length and width options. Britt, our pointe shoe fitter, is also a trained dancer, experienced performer and DBS-checked dance teacher. First trained to fit pointe shoes in 1985 by Rodney Freed and Michael Gamba, she is up to speed with the current leading brands of pointe shoes, passionate about her research and attends fitting courses to keep up to speed with the ever-developing pointe shoe market.
